Should your business have a Facebook Business page?

Most small to medium businesses know that promoting their brand is imperative, however, time restraints often mean that being active on social media, writing regular blogs or sending out email newsletters can be just plain – overwhelming.

So if you have limited time, what social media platform is a must have?

Well of course, every social network has its own unique culture & every business should look for a social network that works for them, but that being said, if you are overwhelmed and not sure where to start, my advice is – you can’t go wrong with having a Facebook Business Page.

Facebook is too huge to ignore.

It dominates.

Facebook is still the only social media platform to have over a billion daily active users, more users than the population of China. This massive pool of users are potential customers.

Facebook ads are amazing as they allow you to be incredibly picky about who you target – from age and gender to location, behaviour and even interests.

And the good news is you don’t need a big budget.

Facebook offers a cool (and totally free) tool called Facebook Insights.

To access it just click on Insights from your Facebook admin interface.

Facebook Insights gives you information about your audience and what they’re interested in.

You also can gather results from survey questions, and photo & video posts – data which will help you understand what your Facebook followers enjoy, so you can create more of what works.

Put it out there

You can also use your Facebook page to ask for opinions from your visitors on new ideas.

Facebook is perfect for this.

For example – ask questions, get feedback, or do a quick survey.

Facebook Offers

Run Facebook Offers and get some viral buzz happening about your business.

Offers is an official way to promote a deal to your Facebook audience – and the good thing is when your fans claim these offers, their friends see it too.

This is just the tip of the iceberg and with so many benefits, you may as well set up your Facebook business page.
